Green Deal UPVC Doors Company

I probably should have asked you that before, but I've suddenly thought, why are you on the [Savers]? Lovely to have you here.

David: Indeed, good question.

Vicky: Yeah.

David: We being UPVC Doors Company got involved because we wanted to make sure that energy efficient windows were included in the scope of the Green Deal. When the government first started talking about the Green Deal we didn't hear any mention of double glazing or energy efficient windows. I, personally, thought that was crazy because if you're going to super insulate your home and then effectively leave the windows open, it just seems a crazy idea to me. We got involved by lobbying government, by talking to some of the ministers, like Greg Barker, who is managing progress of the Green Deal through Parliament, and talking to him about why haven't you considered double glazing? It's so important.

We did some research recently that showed that that was the number one thing that people actually wanted included in the Green Deal.
